Nadal simply the best

REAL Madrid president Florentino Perez has given tennis ace Rafael Nadal the highest praise by saying he is “the best Spanish sportsman of all time.”

Nadal is a well known fan of Los Blancos, and Perez added that the Mallorcan could well become president of the team in the future.

Meanwhile, the 17-time major winner has agreed to partner Roger Federer for the second time at next year’s Laver Cup in Geneva.

Europe Laver Cup captain Bjorn Borg said:

“Bringing together two of the greatest players, and rivals, the sport has ever seen together on one team is very exciting for our sport, and will give use the best possible chance to win the Laver Cup three years in a row.”
