A BRITISH woman has suffered a brain injury and multiple fractures after plunging 25 metres from a rock face at Randa mountain in Algaida on New Year’s Day.
The 25 year-old was airlifted to Son Espases Hospital in Palma during the early hours, where she is currently in intensive care.
The woman, who was reportedly part of a group who had parked at the Cura sanctuary car park, is believed to have lost her footing in the dark.
Fire fighters from Llucmajor and Manacor, together with mountain specialists from Inca, were involved in the rescue operation.
