TRAGIC DEATH: Woman killed in Spain after her car plunged into a river

A FEMALE motorist died after her car left the road and overturned in a nearby river in Abegondo.
A passenger traveling with the victim managed to escape from the car, but the deceased was trapped inside, and Betanzos Fire Fighters had to pull her body free on Tuesday morning. Paramedics were unable to revive her at the scene, while the survivor was transferred to the University Clinical Hospital of A Coruña.
