Two to three cyber attacks detected every day in Spain, security official says

TWO to three cyber strikes aimed at the state and other bodies are detected in Spain every day, a senior security official has said.
General Felix Sanz Roldan, director of the National Intelligence Centre (CNI), said the attacks were “highly dangerous”.
He also called for new measures to help catch those responsible for such attacks while speaking at a technology conference in Madrid last week.
“The attacks would have caused irreparable damage to public administrations or strategic companies if they were not stopped,” Sanz Roldan said.
Those responsible were often from outside the country and they were seeking to destabilise Spanish politics and society, the director added.
