ORANGE and YELLOW weather warnings declared across Spain’s Almeria, Costa del Sol and Costa Blanca for TOMORROW

AEMET. Spain’s Met Office, have declared widespread weather warnings for strong winds across much of Spain’s Coastline tomorrow.

Weather conditions are set to change spelling the end to the stability the Costa del Sol, the Costa Blanca and surrounding provinces have enjoyed in recent weeks.

Due to a cold front entering Galicia tonight (Wednesday), then spreading across most of the peninsula tomorrow, several areas have been placed on high alert for dangerous weather conditions.

Gusts exceeding 80-90 kilometres per hour are expected in affected provinces.

Almeria province has been placed on Orange alert, ‘serious risk to life’, as the worst of weather looks set to arrive to Spain’s south coast.

Strong gusts of wind are forecasted to arrive to the Costa del Sol tomorrow, with Yellow alerts, ‘risk to life’, being issued.

The Costa Blanca too, including Murcia province, has been placed on yellow alert for strong winds.

In addition to this, Axarquia has been given a Yellow level advisory.

Weather warnings are expected to remain in place until 5:00 pm tomorrow.
