YOU’LL NEVER WALK ALONE: Walking football fever is sweeping across the Costa del Sol

WALKING Football Spain is a fast growing new sport and has established itself on the Costa del Sol.
Walking Football began in 2011 in Chesterfield in the UK, and was designed primarily for people over the age of 50 to be able to play the game they love as they grow older.
On December 5, Walking Dead WFC will take on Walking Football Spain as the two titans of the sport on the Costa clash.
More importantly, the teams are aiming to raise funds for the Ciudad de los Ninos shelter for teenagers who have nowhere else to live.
It is a non-profit charity where the children are cared for and educated at the centre until they are 18 years old.
Please head down to the Finca Naundrup sports centre in Mijas Costa to watch the game from 7pm and get involved in a great cause.
Alternatively, if you can’t make it do give what you can to put a smile on these disadvantaged children’s faces at Christmas, at their page here.
The Euro Weekly News will be fully sponsoring the event.
