Original  Charity Shop and Library  guarantees a smile

TONY GRANDE from Make  A Smile was delighted to collect a cheque for €1,000  for the Christmas Bag Appeal.  
The donation from the Original  Charity Shop and Library will help local children in care, said Tony.
There are nine children’s homes in different locations around the Costa Blanca that care for 96 children and 24 mentally-challenged youngsters,  he explained.
The money is to be used for special treats and outings this Christmas and will also go towards financing extra-curricular activities and courses for the older youngsters.  
This will help to prepare them for their venture into the outside world once they reach their 18th  birthday.

The  Original  Charity Shop has donated €29,163  to many deserving causes so far this year.
To support their Christmas Raffle please visit  the shop on Carrer de Nancy 1 in Javea’s  Arenal or the Library in Javea Park.
It costs only €3  for five tickets and the chance to win one of the fabulous prizes.
The shops are open from Monday  to Saturday between  10 am and 1 pm, where readers can browse and pick up some Christmas gifts or buy a €10 voucher for an ideal present.
