CHANNEL 4’s hit television series ‘A Place in the Sun’ is looking for house-hunters in Spain in 2019. If you want to make your dream of owning your very own place in the sun a reality, then it could be the perfect place for you to start. Freeform Media are looking for aspiring house hunters for future episodes in 2019 and beyond, particularly those who are looking to buy on Spain’s Costa del Sol region and the Canary Islands. If you’re looking to buy elsewhere, then that’s fine too, just let them know where and when you’re looking to buy, and they may well be in touch with you very soon. Applying for a future episode is quick and easy, all you need to do is email househunters@aplaceinthesun.com with some details about yourself, a little bit about the type and location of property you are looking for and your budget, along with a photograph. If you’re selected their researchers will meet you, find out exactly what you’re looking for and then take all the hard work out of your search by shortlisting a handful of properties for you to go and visit during the filming. Presenters will then take you to visit the shortlist of properties, giving you advice about what to look out for, and help you decide on what’s really important to you. If you decide to make an offer on one of the properties you visit, their presenters will give advice and tips on how to get the best deal, learned over years of negotiating for house-hunters.
