Footballers benefiting from computer training in Spain
POLICE in Spain are warning tourists and residents to be on their guard for a new robbery technique dubbed the “Ronaldinho”. Robbers target their victims by dribbling a football in front of them causing general confusion them before becoming friendly, hugging and then mugging them. Police have already arrested two men on the Costa del Sol after they robbed an elderly woman using the scam. When she became confused, they pushed her over and stole her mobile phone and money. The two Algerian men involved, aged 38 and 51, were arrested nearby. However, police fear the practice is becoming widespread and are urging holidaymakers and residents to take extra care. The crime has been named after the Brazilian footballer famed for his fancy footwork.
