TWELVE acts remain after tonight’s double elimination on the ITV talent show the X Factor – including Benidorm’s very own Danny Tetley.
LMA Choir and Janice Robinson were booted off the show.
The acts left in the competition are Bella Penfold, Scarlett Lee, Molly Scott and Shan of the Girls, Misunderstood, United Vibe, and Acacia and Aaliyah of the Groups, Brendan, Dalton Andre Harris and Anthony Russell of the Boys and Giovanni Spano and Danny Tetley of the Overs category.
Panelist Robbie Williams had described Danny’s song choice as “wrong” but Danny hit back telling the judges he was pleased he had “actually taken a risk” before claiming some of the other contestant’s song choices were “questionable” as “real guilty pleasures”.
“I am one act that has taken a chance and I have gone out of my comfort zone.”
The 37-year-old singer, originally from Shipley, is now based in Spain on the Costa Blanca.
