British Consulate to tour the Costa to give Brexit advice

THE British Consulate in Alicante is staging a number of presentations across the region next month to give British expatriates advice about living in Spain and share information about Brexit.

Sarah-Jane Morris will give short talks before taking questions from members of the public, with the help of representatives from the health service and the Guardia Civil.

Topics covered will include how to register with the town hall, how to get a residency certificate, access to healthcare, and driving licences in Spain.


On November 6, at 12 noon there will be a talk at La Marina social centre, Fulgencio, followed by a further event at 4.30pm at Plaza Florida in Pinar de Campoverde.

Additional event dates and times are: November 7, 11am, at Cuidad Quesada social centre; November 8, 10am at Hondon de los Frailes Town Hall; November 13, 1pm at Camposol social centre; November 15, 10.30am at Playa Flamenca Town Hall; November 15, 1pm at the cultural and sport centre in San Miguel de Salinas and on November 16, 4pm at CDT Calle de los Lirios in Torrevieja.
