POLICE in Spain are investigating the disappearance of an Irish man on the Costa Blanca who hasn’t been seen since the early hours of last Sunday morning (September 16). It is believed that Carl Carr, aged 38, was last seen a dance club at Cabo Roig, Orihuela Costa, near Torrevieja. His worried partner, Danielle Coupe, appealed for any information on his whereabouts on social media. On Facebook, she said: “Has anybody seen Carl? He’s been missing since Saturday. Me, his family and friends are going out of our minds with worry. “Anyone who was at Circus Discoteca can you message with the last time you saw him please?” She pleaded to anyone with any information to contact her on 603218574 or call the Guardia Civil or National Police in Spain. Danielle’s Facebook post has been shared more than 400 times and she said: “Wow thank you everybody xx” A friend, Shelley Ann Marie Gould, said: “I just hope all the sharing gets him home. Everyone must be out their minds.😢😢” Danielle replied: “I feel like it’s not real. Just hoping and praying xx” She added: “Thank you to everyone who has messaged me. I can’t believe how many I have had. He’s still missing we are just praying for good news! Newspapers in Ireland have reported that Carr was jailed for eight years in December 2008 after he was caught in a €1.4 million drugs bust in Dublin. He is believed to have moved to Spain shortly after his release from prison. https://www.facebook.com/danielle.coupe.397/posts/2129654120387473 https://www.facebook.com/danielle.coupe.397/posts/2128231657196386
