A 28-year-old British woman who was in a critical condition after drowning at an Ibiza hotel pool has died. The woman was holidaying on the Balearic island with her partner at the time of the accident. Emergency services responded to the incident at 6.42pm last Wednesday after the woman suffered a cardiac arrest and almost drowned. After lengthy CPR at the scene she was rushed to the Can Misses Hospital in a critical condition. Yesterday evening (Monday) it was reported that the woman passed away two days after being admitted to the hospital. Her death brings the tally of drowning deaths on the island to 22 so far this year.
