Costa del Sol woman arrested after kebab shop knife fight

LOCAL POLICE officers in Mijas have arrested a woman in connection with allegations that she threatened a takeaway owner at knifepoint after being refused a kebab after hours.

Officers claimed the incident took place in the Las Lagunas at around 1.50am on Monday. The woman verbally and physically threatened the man after he told her the premises’ kitchen was closed, according to allegations made by his wife.

The man allegedly told the woman he would not be able to serve her food until the following day. A struggle then followed in which the owner’s wife claimed to have been caught up in when she told the detainee she had called the police.

Local Police officers were sent to the area and found the woman in the area and arrested her before then taking proceedings to the Guardia Civil.
