A LORRY driver who stopped to ask police for directions was busted this morning (Thursday) after officers noticed a strong smell of marijuana on him. Provincial police in Navarra, Spain, say that the driver stopped his vehicle shortly before 9am and got out of the cab to ask a police patrol for directions in Murieta. The officers noticed a strong smell of marijuana which aroused their suspicions. And when they checked the cab of the lorry they found a lit joint and hashish. The driver tested positive for cocaine in a drugs test and the lorry was impounded.
