Drug ‘mule’ woman dies at main train station in Spain

A WOMAN has died at one of Spain’s main railway stations after being found unconscious.
A security guard from the train operator Renfe at the Estación de Sants de Barcelona called the emergency services but they could not resuscitate her.
Initially, they thought she could be pregnant since her abdomen was ‘inflated’.
However, police said an autopsy confirmed that the 33-year-old Peruvian woman was carrying drugs in her stomach when one of the wrappings burst.
Now the Mossos d’Esquadra regional police are trying to establish where she had travelled from and where she was going.
