EMERGENCY SERVICES have confirmed that the body of a woman has been found in a river in southern Spain this morning (Tuesday). The corpse of a woman, aged about 40-years-old and believed to be German, was found in the Chillar river, near Nerja in the province of Malaga, Andalucia. The 112 emergency control centre received a call at approximately 10.30 am between the Águila and Viejo bridges on the N-340. Paramedics, Guardia Civil and Local Police attended the scene but the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death are not yet clear.
