POLICE OFFICERS in Spain have issued a warning to pet-owners after sausages with nails hidden inside them have been found in parks in Spain. The National Police has appealed for people to call 091 if they spot any of the spiked sausages or have information regarding the matter. Enraged pet-lovers took to social media to voice their disgust towards animal abuse while others were worried about the risk of young children picking them up. Sadly, It’s not a new problem. In December of 2017 the Euro Weekly News reported on dog owners warned of sausages laced with hidden nails on streets of Spain. And, back in 2015, we warned of dog food laced with nails in Nerja on the Costa del Sol.
