ROAD SMASH: Three seriously injured

THE Mormon church has called on people of faith to pray for their four Costa del Sol mission members and the driver who were injured – three seriously – after a road traffic accident in Spain.

Spokesperson Daniel Woodruff of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints said, “Four missionaries serving in the Spain Malaga Mission were injured in a collision with a truck. The missionaries were riding in a vehicle driven by a man they had been teaching.

“Elder Mason T. Heninger (20), from Canada, and Elder Gabriel E. Inesta Olmo (19) from Puerto Rico, were seriously injured and required surgery.”

Both missionaries are stable and recovering.

“Elder Caden K. Randall (18) and Elder Hunter J. Bushman (19), both from Utah, sustained minor injuries.”

The driver of the vehicle is reported to be in a serious condition.
