A MAN has died after falling while removing icicles from his fourth-floor home in northern Spain.
The 60-year-old man died on Calle Cruz Roja in Avila.
Emergency services were unable to revive him.
Police are investigating the exact circumstances of the fall.
Firefighters have been working non-stop to clear icicles and dangerous accumulations of snow from eaves and roof tops in the area.
