PAPA NOEL has made an appearance on the slopes of the Sierra Nevada ski resort, near Granada, to launch the packed programme of activities for Christmas and the New Year.
Expert skier Santa Claus was accompanied helpers on the floodlit run to inaugurate a winter season of activities aimed primarily at children and families.
The games and the fun will continue on December 30 and 31 and January 6 and 7, 2018.
On New Year’s Eve, the midnight chimes will be broadcast on a big screen in the Plaza de Andalucía as part of a year-end party with live music.
Between January 2 and 4, family fun will take in the same venue with balloon twisting modelling, storytelling, puppet shows and other activities.
On January 5 at 7pm, the Three Kings will descend the El Río run. The cavalcade can be seen live on the ski resort’s Facebook page.
