ONE person has died and two others were injured during the annual Fiesta del Toro Revolao bull run in the small village of Valfermoso de Tajuna, in the Castilla La Mancha region of Spain.
The 33-year-old man from Madrid had been taunting the bull, waving a jumper at it, before it charged at him pinning him to the ground.
In videos posted on social media other participants can be seen trying to pull the bull from the man by the tail.
It is reported the man was gored in the jugular but died later despite the best efforts of the emergency services.
The man’s wife and children were in the crowd and witnessed the incident according to reports on television.
No-one has previously died at the event.
