FOUND: Linda Campbell - lost contact with family due to dead phone battery

A BRITISH mother who missed her flight back to the UK after a holiday in Spain and then wasn’t heard from for several days has been found and taken to police by a restaurant on the Costa del Sol.

Linda Campbell’s son, Michael, had issued an appeal on Facebook to find the whereabouts of his mum who was last believed to be in Torremolinos.

Speaking from the UK Michael, said, “Thank you to everyone… the response has been amazing and everyone has been so helpful I’m blown away.”

Sven Anderrson, owner of the Restaurant Casero in Torremolinos, speaking exclusively to  the Euro Weekly News told how his staff went to the woman’s aid.

“She came twice to our restaurant on Sunday evening  after 11pm. She couldn’t talk very well and couldn’t find her hotel.”

“She told us she had been to a party and someone stole her wallet.”

He said she then left but returned 30 minutes later and asked for help again.

“We then took her to the local police station.”

“We felt very sorry for this lady.”
