Three beauty contest finalists ready to travel across the world representing Gibraltar

THIS year’s Miss Gibraltar and her two princesses are getting ready to fly across the world in order to take part in three international pageants.

Miss Gibraltar, Jodie Garcia will be leaving later this month to bid for a second Gibraltar victory at the Miss World Pageant which this year takes place in Sanya, China with the final taking place on Saturday November 18.

First Princess, Tessa Britto will be leaving to participate at the Miss International Pageant in Tokyo, Japan with her final being earlier as it takes place on Tuesday November 14.

Second Princess, Sian Dean will be taking part in the Miss Supranational Pageant in

Krynica-Zdroj, Poland with the final being held on Friday December 1.

Minister for Culture, the Media, Youth and Sport, Steven Linares, invited the three to City Hall today (Monday) to wish them good luck on their journey and presented each with a gift and bouquet of flowers.
