THE swift response of bathers in Cadiz almost certainly saved the life of a dolphin that had fishing net tangled in its mouth.
Rescuers rushed into the sea at at El Buzo beach, in El Puerto de Santa María when the dolphin appeared stranded in shallow water.
They quickly cut the tangled net from the mouth of the dolphin before it swam free and rejoined other dolphins in the area.
Inés Oliva Pérez who posted a video on Facebook said, “Thanks to the very good people like those shown in the video. There are wonderful people in Andalucia.”
