RATS: too close for comfort
A POST to a social media group in San Pedro Alcantara says that there are large numbers of rats running wild in infant’s schools in the town.
The claim from a local cleaner suggests that every day when she and colleagues go to the schools, the rats are running around like “large rabbits” and that despite advising the authorities nothing has been done about them.
According to the cleaner it is only a matter of time before the rats become bolder whilst the children are in the classroom or play area and then it is possible that one or more will be bitten.
Members of the group are horrified at this news and suggest that a denuncia should be issued to the sanitation or health sections of the San Pedro council.
