PILOTS' STRIKE: All flights on the 23 September will operate
THE pilots’ union BALPA has called a strike on Thomas Cook UK Airlines flights from 00.01 to 23.59 on Saturday, 23 September.
The airline which flies to parts of Spain from British regional airports has said, “Our priority is to make sure all of our customers can still fly on holiday and back home with us and we are pleased to confirm that all of our flights on the 23 September will operate.
“In order to make sure that everyone can still travel with us during the strike period, we have made changes to the departure times of some of our flights on the 23 September. We have tried to keep disruption to a minimum and apologise if these changes affect your plans or cause you inconvenience.”
According to the union, the pilots have seen a deterioration in their terms and conditions as well as real-term pay cuts. They have been offered a 4 per cent pay rise over two years.
The revised schedule can be found below and the airline should have contacted customers travelling on these flights with their new departure time.
