AIRPORT ACCESS CLOSED: Thick, black smoke billows across the road
EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a recycling plant fire near Malaga’s Costa del Sol airport.
The MA23 access to the airport has been closed for safety reasons as thick, black smoke billows across the road.
A call to the 112 Emergency services at 14.55 alerted them to the fire at the paper and cardboard recycling plant on the Villa Rosa de Malaga industrial estate.
An alternative route to the airport is open via the MA21.
