Pick up the ‘phone and make David’s day!

ROAD TO RECOVERY: David Toms is looking forward to taking calls and receiving visitors now he is closer to 'home'

A COSTA DEL SOL photographer who was left totally paralysed in an horrific motorbike accident would love to hear from you or, better still, receive some visitors.

David Toms, aged 52, has been transferred from a specialist spinal injuries hospital  in Toledo to a  residential facility in Granada that is nearer to ‘home’ and hopes that friends, colleagues and clients will pick up the telephone or, better still, visit him.

David’s brother Keith, who has been constantly at his side for months, has now been forced to return to work commitments in the United States.

And David’s elderly parents, who live in the UK, are not fit enough to travel to Spain at the moment.

David’s support team believe that frequent visits and interaction will keep him motivated to improve on the movement that has been achieved in his left arm and leg.

Thanks to voice-responsive technology David can answer calls on his mobile number (690 656 120) or he will call you back if he’s having treatment.

But, better still, he would love to see you!

The ASPAYM   residence in Calle Bérchules 1, Granada is an easy two-hour journey from the Costa del Sol. Visiting hours are from 11.30am to 1pm and 5pm to 8pm and fit around David’s daily physiotherapy needs. The switchboard number is 958 20 55  92.
