Gibraltar ministers travel to London for Brexit meetings with government

A DELEGATION from Gibraltar met with representatives of the British Government in London yesterday (Tuesday).

Their wide agenda included discussions with officials from the Foreign Office, the Cabinet Office, the Department for Exiting the European Union, the Home Office, the Department for Transport, DEFRA, the Department of International Trade, the Department of Culture, Media and Sport and the Treasury.

This meeting was held in preparation for the next formal round of talks under the Joint Ministerial Council for Gibraltar EU Exit and also covered other matters of relevance to the Territory.

The delegation which included the Attorney General and Representative in London went on for further meetings with business leaders the following day before preparing to return to Gibraltar on Thursday.
