Boy taking selfie killed by train in Spain

A YOUNG boy whose age has not yet been confirmed was hit by a train and died whilst taking selfies with friends on the railway track in the town of Pepino in Toledo.

Whilst his friends left the bridge when they realised that a train was coming, the boy, the youngest of the group, did not leave quickly enough and was caught between the train and a fence.

After 112 emergency services and the Guardia Civil were alerted, the body of the child was taken to the nearest health centre which was only able to confirm his death.
