AS migration continues, so the number of exhausted Griffon vultures rescued around Spain increases.
On this occasion, an exhausted young vulture was spotted on the SA-20 in Salamanca and officers from the Guardia Civil closed one lane of the road until colleagues from the Seprona division arrived to capture the bird.
It was successfully removed without any injuries to the officers or the vulture and was taken to a rescue centre to recuperate.
