OFFICERS of both Local and National Police were called out by local residents when a young girl was allegedly thrown from a balcony in the Nueva Andalucia area of Marbella.
It is suggested that she was trying to fend off a sexual assault.
Emergency services took the girl to the Costa del Sol hospital where she was diagnosed as having suffered a pelvic fracture while the 32-year-old alleged assailant was arrested.
The investigation as to the cause of the injuries and the alleged improper sexual advances continues at the scene of the fall in Calle Aries.
