SEVEN members of an international drug trafficking ring were arrested in Granada and Cartagena.
Almost three tonnes of hashish was confiscated in raids at the suspects’ properties.
It is believed the gang would smuggle their product from Cadiz to Granada, and then from there to Cartagena, where it would then be sent to other countries in Europe.
The members were Spanish and Moroccan nationals who operated from Malaga to Gerona.
A team composed of the Guardia Civil in Malaga and Murcia, the National Police in Granada and anti-drugs and organised crime units brought down the international trafficking ring.
