Police searching his home in La Linea de la Concepcion

A MAN was arrested for allegedly grooming minors to have cybersex with him in Malaga.

The 48-year-old would reach out to his targets on Facebook – where he had more than 5,000 friends, mostly minors – and immediately attempt to get their phone number in order to videochat.

Police created a fake profile, of a supposed 15-year-old in Malaga, and reached out to the suspect.

The man began attempting to convince the ‘girl’ to send him nude pictures, and offered to put €30 of credit onto her phone.

He then added that many other girls her age did the same, and some of  them were earning €60 a week doing it.

Police then tracked his address through the profile, and arrested him in La Linea de  la Concepcion.

Three hard drives, a tablet and two mobile phone memory cards  were seized from his home by investigators.

Authorities said all conversations held between the suspect and the 15-year-old were sexual in nature, in one instance he even sent her pornographic footage to try and convince her to engage in cybersex.

He was sent to prison where he is awaiting trial for the corruption of minors.
