A SPEED CAMERA is being installed on the Mijas to Coin road.
The popular route that links Coin, Alhaurin el Grande and Mijas together has had some €15 million invested into it, widening the road itself and providing escape lanes.
The camera will be installed on the 11.1km of the A-7053 and will set the speed limit at 50 kmh.
It is estimated some 9,000 vehicles travel along the road every day.

Widening the road, reducing the speed limit and then introducing a speed camera, sounds like the normal police cash cow to me.
sounds different to me Mr british … The message sounds like allowing more people to travel by car and pick out those who endanger other people by driving too fast.
