A TOWN in Caceres was inundated after a dam wall collapsed.
Residents of Valverde de la Vera were told in the early hours of Wednesday (July 5) that a retaining wall had given way, and to take the necessary precautions.

Footage shows water and debris flowing through the town, which has left people trapped in their homes.

There have fortunately been no reports of injuries, but there have been material damages.
