TO commemorate the 50th Anniversary of oil company BP in its Castellon premises, King Felipe paid a formal visit to unveil an anniversary plaque.
As well as senior BP officials and Spanish politicians, the British Ambassador to Spain, Simon Manley, accompanies His Majesty.
BP first entered the Spanish market in 1954 and now employs 900 people and operates 629 service stations in the country making it Spain’s third largest seller of diesel and petrol as well as being a major supplier of natural gas.
His Majesty met with workers in the plant and visited the control room for the refinery before unveiling the plaque.
