TRAVELLERS using the Malaga-Fuengirola train route today (June 9) were left unhappy with RENFE’s cancellations.
The train company said the cancelations were due to technical difficulties, but some reports suggest it is due to problems with staff rotas.
The following services have been affected by the cancellations:

Málaga (11.30) – Fuengirola (12.16)
Málaga (14.10) – Fuengirola (14.56)
Málaga (15.50) – Fuengirola (16.36)
Málaga (17.30) – Fuengirola (18.16)
Málaga (14.50) – Fuengirola (15.36)
Málaga (18.50) – Fuengirola (19.36)
Málaga (20.30) – Fuengirola (21.16)
Fuengirola (07.40) – Málaga (08.26)
Fuengirola (09.20) – Málaga (10.06)
Fuengirola (12.20) – Málaga (13.06)
Fuengirola (15.00) – Málaga (15.46)
Fuengirola (15.40) – Málaga (16.26)
Fuengirola (16.40) – Málaga (17.26)
Fuengirola (18.20) – Málaga (19.06)

“Apart from the aforementioned cancellations, the Cercanias service will run as usual” RENFE announced.
“We are sorry for any inconveniences caused by these temporary changes,” the company added.
The service usually has a train leaving from Fuengirola or Malaga every 20 minutes.
