A NORWEGIAN man has been stung to death by bees in Mijas.
The 70-year-old was found dead on a rural route in Riviera del Sol by a dog walker.
An autopsy report found the 70-year-old had gone into anaphylactic shock after being stung numerous times by bees.
Officers found an apiary with 150 beehives nearby, but according to reports there were signs warning of its proximity.
An investigation has been launched to determine why the bees attacked.
