LIONEL MESSI’S 21 month prison sentence for tax evasion has been confirmed by Spain’s Supreme Court.
The Barcelona star reportedly owes the Hacienda a total of €4.1 million from 2007-2009.
As well as serving seven months for each charge, Messi has also been fined more than €2 million.
However, as the prison sentence is under two years, the Argentine will most likely be handed a suspended sentence.
