RAFAEL NADAL is through to the Madrid Open final.

The Spaniard beat Novak Djokovic 6-2 6-4 to claim his first victory over the Serb since the 2014 French Open final.

Nadal’s record on clay this year is now 14-0 and will face Uruguay’s Pablo Cuevas or Austria’s Dominic Thiem in Sunday’s final.

      Another week of married bliss because my wife is an avid Nadal supporter and when he wins, I win as well. The only time I would lose is if Rafael seduced my wife away from me, but I am willing to do a swap for his “arm candy”.
