Benidorm
A BRITISH woman was rushed to Levante Hospital after collapsing during a hen party in Benidorm.
Mandy Farrell suddenly fell ill while drinking coffee at the Hotel Marina, where she reportedly said: “Oh my God – I think I’m dying.”
Doctors told her family she has suffered an aneurysm to the left said of her brain and was in a coma.
Husband Paul, and their two children, Kieran and Olivia, flew out to Spain upon hearing the news.
Mr Farrell told news outlets on Tuesday (May 9) his wife opened her eyes when he spoke to her and was “convinced she could hear us.”
The family are however trying not to get too excited as she is still in a serious condition.
Mrs Farrell has insurance, however a JustGiving page has raised some £8,000 for the family who have had to halt work at their stonemasonry business while they are in Spain.
