AFTER receiving complaints from legitimate companies about the sale of counterfeit clothing, 11 people have been arrested in Gran Canaria.
Officers of the National Police visited a market in San Fernando de Maspalomas and discovered nine stalls selling counterfeit sports clothing and arrested nine men and two women.
In addition, they removed 870 garments which if not fakes would have had a combined value of €76,476.
