NATIONAL POLICE have arrested two suspected jihadists in Barcelona and Tarragona.
The 21-year-old and 32-year-old men were believed to be part of a group which had ties with Daesh according to authorities.
The Moroccan nationals also allegedly attempted to radicalise and recruit members through social media posts.
A third man was detained in Tangiers for allegedly operating in the same terrorist cell.
Spain’s Home Office said the arrests were part of an ongoing operation with Moroccan authorities, which has led to the arrest of 10 people in Spain and Morocco since 2015 with suspected ties to Daesh.
