A ROMANIAN airline has begun flying routes to and from the UK to Alicante.
Blue Air will have flights departing from Liverpool on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, offering thousands of seats to potential travellers.
Alicante’s fire service greeted the airline’s inaugural flight by spraying an arch of water over the 170 passenger aircraft as is customary in the aviation industry according to a press release from Aena.
Blue Air, along with Ryanair and easyJet, will offer an estimated five million seats to Alicante from the UK for the coming summer season, a 17.2 per cent increase from last year.
