VIEWERS of a Spanish reality show were left speechless after a husband wanted to divorce his wife for not having a vagina.

The bizarre scenario was aired on the Spanish TV show Caso Cerrado (Case Closed), where the man initially claimed he sought a divorce because his wife had slept with her adoptive mother.

The man, who’s name was only given as Alejandro, said: “I am here to sue this shameless tramp.

“I demand a divorce and I’d like to have her removed from the deed to my apartment. I caught her having sex with her supposed ‘mother’ on the night of our honeymoon.”

However when host of the show, Ana Maria Polo, turned to the wife, referred to only as Tania, for further explanation, it is revealed she was born with Rokitansky syndrome.

The congenital abnormality leaves a woman with either an extremely small or non-existent vagina.

Despite having surgery, Tania was suffering from extreme pain when attempting to consummate the marriage, which is when she contacted her mother to help her dilate.

Dr Madeline Hernandez said: “Women have to continually dilate themselves,” alongside therapy which means they have to “deal with a lot of pain and psychological trauma.”

Hearing both sides of the story, the host eventually grants the divorce.

Despite the accusations, Tania said she still loved him.
