ANGRY bees have forced police to close down a street in Benidorm.
The nest was located in the garden of the Las Palmeras building on Avinguda Alcoi.
Bee handlers rushed to the scene to remove the nest, as bees are protected and cannot be exterminated.
The incident occurred at midday, Monday (April 24), when bees are at their most active, and their most aggressive it seems.
