EXTREME OFF-ROADING: the drunk driver found himself stuck on the track
POLICE in Malaga were called to a disturbance involving an apparently drunk driver stuck on the metro tracks last night (April 19).
The incident occurred at 10.15pm close to the University Clinic Hospital, and services were suspended until 11pm whilst the recovery operation was underway.
Representatives of the Malaga metro and the Police took to Twitter to warn travellers of delays.
According to police, the driver showed clear signs of inebriation and was attempting to drive towards the metro tunnel before getting himself stuck. He was arrested when Local Police arrived on the scene.
It took officers around one hour to remove the Mercedes from the tracks, and after thorough inspections, the service resumed as normal.
