Plane crash in Portugal leaves five dead

A PLANE has crashed near a Lidl supermarket outside Lisbon killing five people.

News outlets say the victims were the pilot, three passengers and a lorry driver, whose vehicle was hit.

The small Swiss-registered plane was reportedly en route to Marseille, when it crashed in Tires. The cause is not yet known.
